- Slippery Elm Bark (Ulmus rubra) – Renowned for its demulcent qualities, forming a soothing coating along the digestive tract.
- Marshmallow Root (Althaea officinalis) – A classic mucilage-rich root, easing dryness, irritation, and inflammation.
- Chamomile Flowers (Matricaria recutita) – Calms nervous digestion, relieves tension, and reduces gas or bloating.
- Plantain Leaf (Plantago major/lanceolata) – Traditional vulnerary herb, used to cool, heal, and restore tissue.
