Home Grown for Heroes is a national initiative of the Farmer Veteran Coalition, supporting veterans who choose farming as their next mission. The program helps veterans grow food, build business skills, and connect with their communities through hands‑on agriculture and sustainable land stewardship.

At Horse‑n‑Bear Ranch, we are proud to participate in this meaningful initiative. Dr. Timothy Test, a veteran himself, joined the program to gain resources, mentorship, and a network of fellow veteran farmers — all while continuing to grow high‑quality herbs, teas, and other farm products for The Herb Peddler.
