About This Herb: Our Peppermint is carefully harvested at peak flowering and gently dried to preserve its high essential oil content and bright, cooling flavor. This hybrid of watermint and spearmint has been cultivated for centuries and is one of the most widely used medicinal herbs worldwide. The cooling sensation comes from menthol, one of its primary active compounds.
