About This Soap
Our Lavender Goat’s Milk Soap is carefully handcrafted in small batches using traditional cold-process methods. We combine nutrient-rich goat’s milk with pure lavender essential oil to create a bar that’s as nourishing for your skin as it is calming for your spirit. Each cold process bar is cured for 4-6 weeks to ensure a hard, long-lasting soap with a creamy, luxurious lather. Our Hot process bars are cured via gentle heat and produce the same benefit in a more rustic The Herb Peddler-style bar.

Our Craft
Each batch of our Lavender Goat’s Milk Soap is handcrafted in small batches right here in Fort Blackmore, Virginia at Horse-n-Bear Ranch – home of The Herb Peddler. We use both the traditional cold-process method as well as the hot process method. Each method allows us to maintain the beneficial properties of our natural ingredients. We do not use the melt and pour method as this does not produce truly handmade soap — it relies on soap bases purchased from retailers that contain ingredients we would not use on our skin, so we figured why would you.
